Attend District Meeting
Several Dare County Schools Child Nutrition staff members joined CN Director Carol Sykes at the School Nutrition Association of North Carolina district meeting at the Vernon James Research and Extension Center in Plymouth on Saturday, February 19. The Dare group joined school nutrition staff from Tyrrell, Martin, Beaufort, Washington and Bertie counties for professional development. Child Nutrition Director Carol Sykes commended everyone who attended, noting "The School Nutrition Association advocates for school nutrition programs, provides professional development opportunities and a network of some of the best people you could ever meet."
