Dare County Schools

Dare County Schools Child Nutrition Director Carol Sykes, First Flight Middle School Cafeteria Manager Donna Hala, and Manteo Middle School Cafeteria Manager Dawn Williams participated in the state's Fall Child Nutrition Conference, held October 20-22. The conference provided training sessions to equip Child Nutrition staff with the latest information, hot topics, networking opportunities and regulatory updates.  Sykes noted that "Participation in the fall conference enhances knowledge and provides updates for the betterment of Child Nutrition programs across the state of North Carolina.  It is an honor to attend, and the state provides a valuable service in hosting the event."
