AIG Team Meets with Consultant
Dare County Schools Gifted (AIG) program school coordinators, with Directors of Instruction Judi Hornbeck and Nancy Griffin, met with gifted consultant Dianne McDowell of Creating Visions, Inc. on January 18. McDowell reviewed the newly revised district plan and helped the group outline areas of improvement and identify strengths. Dare County Schools AIG Plan, as all North Carolina plans, are reviewed and revised approximately every three years. Essential to the process is the input from parents and other stakeholders that is sought out in the revision cycle.
