University Hawaii, Hilo
Board member (and mom of ROV Team member Barry Lawler), Margaret Lawler reported:
The FFHS ROV came in 1st in the Mate International contest!
They also placed 1st and got the highest score for their Engineering interview where they defend their ROV, and scored an impressive 302.7
for the water mission. They are so excited! We should be so proud of this little school system compared to all the heavy competition
They did this all on their own and not like most of the private schools - representing Hong Kong, Russia, Taipei, Scotland, Canada, The Netherlands and the
US - who compete with virtually unlimited resources.
