Dare County Schools Maintenance Department Jonathan Rhodes takes inventory and inspects fire doors at Nags Head Elementary School. To insure proper operation, this safety measure took place in each of Dare's 11 schools in November. Rhodes and his colleagues in the Dare Schools Maintenance Department tackle jobs from scheduled tasks and work orders to larger projects including the renovation of the old weather station in Hatteras to house Cape Hatteras Secondary School of Coastal Studies Alternative and Rebound Programs.
